Closest store is 45 minutes away. I didn’t really want to drive and I tried to figure out a way to score the patterns. My brain was working hard and BAM! I called Wal-Mart to see if they ad match Joann. I think I am the first person to ask that in our area, it took a little bit for the answer but they said yes. Win!
Maxi dress! Actually, I’m making several views from this dress.
I’ve had a big crush on this Lisette pattern for quite some time.
This shirt will be great for casual and work use. I think different fabric and finished will really lend versatility to this.
2363 will make a great Boho tunic and dress. I’m not sure I can pull off that Maxi look at5’1, but I might give it a whirl. The 1940′s repro is for my fall wardrobe building. By then I might be brave enough to try something a little more tailored. I am so excited that I got the 5 for $5 and didn’t have to drive. More sewing in the future!

I want that maxi dress pattern and added it recently to me mile-long wish list (I’m planning a trip to the US this year so the plan is empty suitcase going to, [hopefully] full suitcase coming back, LOL!)
Re:FSoG, I got the free ff but I don’t dare open it, the excerpts are just too painful for the Eng+Fr teacher that I am. Did you see the drinking game?

Although it’s meant as a joke, from what I’ve read, might not be a good idea to do this with real alcohol, LOL! Have a nice week-end!
It’s hard to not have a big wish list of patterns and fabrics!
I figured I should read since its caused quite a stir. it’s a holiday weekend here, so maybe I should try that game. Teehee. I still need to read The Hunger Games too. I already have a list of books to read/buy. With all the reading, sewing and knitting I want to do, it’s amazing I can hold a job.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your weekend and filling your suitcase in the States.
